The facilities are located at:
- 1415 Magellan Drive in Hanover
- 7151 Montevideo Road in Jessup

Toxic Polluting
These facilities use ethylene oxide (EtO), a known human carcinogen, in the manufacturing process of spices and seasonings. As a result, toxic EtO emissions are released into the air.
Both facilities were named by the EPA as serious EtO polluters, endangering the communities of Jessup, Hanover, Arundel Mills, Elkridge, Fort Meade, Laurel, and others.
Elite Spice has operated its Hanover plant since 2014 and Jessup plant since 2004.
